Like the name suggests, this book talks about two main investment strategies. The first one based on small promising companies that aim to change rules of existing market or invent a new market through innovating ideas and products. The second strategy is to invest in large cap companies with controlling shares and that dominate their own sector. Like many other book, the authors list some characteristic or points regarding how to pick each one of these types of companies.

I did not like this book. First of all, most of this book is re-capped in their later book The Motley Fool Investment Guide. There is really no point in reading this, you can kill a bird with two stones?by reading the latter. Also, while all the points mentioned in the book are valid, I found the book somewhat, basic or intuitive for better or worse of choosing the right description. For anyone with some basic knowledge of investing, he/she can basically rationalize the entire content merely through reading the title of the book.
